Where do you ship to?

Cakes Cove is able to ship throughout Canada and the USA, and though we currently can't ship beyond that due to Vogons rules and regulations, Cakes Cove is working on it, and will update you with any changes through the Blog and Newsletter.

How do I order custom items?

By using the Custom Order form, e-mailing your inquiry to info@cakescove.com, calling (647) 347-CAKE (2253) or visiting the boutique at 1074 St.Clair Ave. W. Toronto! I will work with you to create the perfect item(s) for the occasion.

What can I customize?

The possibilities are endless, including, but not limited to; Cake and cupcake designs. Marshmallow flavours. Images/logos on marshmallows, cookies, and chocolate picture frames. Wedding, or other event favours. Chocolate and sugar sculptures. Sweet tables. And any other ideas we can think of to make your genre delicious! Just e-mail info@cakescove.com,  give us a call at (647) 347-CAKE (2253) or visit the boutique at 1074 St.Clair Ave West Toronto, so we can get started.

Do you create cupcakes?

Of course! Any cake, and cupcake orders can be made through the Custom Order form. Fill it out with your flavour choices, theme, budget & contact info, and I will work with you to create the perfect design for your event, or sweet tooth.

Why do you ask for my budget when I place custom orders?

Each creation is designed specifically with you, and your occasion in mind. Having an idea of your budget right off the bat allows me to present you with the best possible design, without going drastically over, or under your budget. Ordering from Cakes Cove should be enjoyable from every aspect.

How far in advance should I order?

Orders through the online shopping basket are shipped out every Tuesday, and Wednesday following the date you placed the order unless it falls on a holiday (then it’s the following business day) Shipping takes 1-6 business days.

For Custom Orders a minimum of two weeks is required (See rush orders below). However the earlier you book the more chance your specific date will still be available. Cakes Cove is already booking orders for 2016, so be sure to order early.

I need a rush order, do you do that?

Rush orders are custom orders with less than two weeks before the due date. Cakes Cove will try to accept your order, with an added 25% rush fee. Though it entirely depends on how booked I currently am. Always try to order early, but e-mail info@cakescove.com and I will try to accommodate the order, never hurts to ask!

How much is shipping?

Shipping varies depending on weight and shipping destination. It is added during checkout, before paying. If prices seem steep, it’s due to the required speed of delivery, extra packaging, and icepacks added to insure your order arrives without damage.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping takes 1-12 business days depending on your location. Contact us for more information.

Will my items be safe during shipping?

Every package is carefully wrapped, and boxed to prevent any damages when being shipped to you. In hot months, or going to hot locations ice pack(s) are added to prevent melting damage to some items. (Mainly chocolates) For safety of the order this is why some items, such as cakes, cupcakes, and sculptures, cannot be shipped.

After all that effort, if my item is damaged, what do I do?

Accidents do happen from time to time, especially because Cakes Cove has no control over the postal service. If your item has arrived damaged, please take a photo of the damaged item(s) and e-mail it to info@cakescove.com. Your image will be reviewed, and an e-mail will be sent back to you within 48 hours rectifying the situation with either a partial, or whole refund, or a replacement. We take every precaution packaging your order with care, so these accidents rarely occur.

Do you have a storefront?

Yes! You can visit the boutique at 1074 St.Clair Ave. West Toronto to shop, pick up custom orders, enjoy our famous Sipping Chocolate, and explore some of my previous work.

Are Cakes Cove's products available in other stores?

Currently we happily have items available at The Black Canary Espresso Bar HQ downtown Toronto, The Black Canary inside the Silver Snail Comic shop downtown Toronto, and MeepleMart, the second largest gaming store in Canada. You can also catch us at many different conventions and events. Register for the Newsletter to be kept up to date with dates and locations for these!

I want to model for you, are you accepting applications?

Cakes Cove is located in Toronto Ontario Canada, if you are able to come to a shoot in the area, and have a love for all things geeky, please send an e-mail to info@cakescove.com with a photo, and if you have/want to contribute any of the below aspects that always make a shoot better.
Locations – I have a few I use regularly, but if you want to do a Wonder Woman shoot, and know a great place in the area we can use that looks like Themyscira, fantastic.

Costumes – You spent six months on that cosplay outfit, Fan Expo is over... let’s give it life again!

Props/set pieces to go with a geeky theme.

All sexes, and body types – You’re a geek, let’s celebrate it.

A fantastic attitude, always important.

Do you partner/collaborate with other companies?

Yes! By working with each other not only can we support both businesses, but we can also bring more wonder and imagination through all things geeky and wonderful. Please e-mail info@cakescove.com and tell me your ideas!
