  • Video Games Live

Today's blog post is all about Video Games Live, a show celebrating the music that gets poured into our video games to give them life. It combines grand orchestral performances, solo performances, player interaction with the audience, and of course the passion from both those on stage, and the fans experiencing the show. It's something I recommend everyone experience at least once. One part of my memorable evening, was after the show, watching the fans leave (myself among them), 85% of us sporting some type of video game clothing or costumes, a mass of happy, like minded genre enthusiasts. I felt right at home. But don't take my word for it, watch the trailer!

You may remember a past blog post regarding their very successful Kickstarter. We managed to raise $285,081 for a third album to be created, and the Kickstarter digital rewards went out yesterday! If you were unable to participate in the Kickstarter, you can grab the album when it's released. Either way, you should definitely go and see the concert, view tour dates and locations here.

Preparing for some very exciting upcoming events I can't wait to tell you all about, has caused this blog post to be behind a day. So, instead of wishing Tommy Tallarico a happy birthday, I'm going to wish him, a very merry unbirthday, and the best of luck in his upcoming shows. Tommy -these VGL cupcakes are yours when you visit Toronto, can't wait to see you again.
